وظیفه سنسور های فاصله سنج ، سنجش فاصله در یک محدودتعریف شده میباشد . دقت سنسور فاصله سنج امرون مدل E3Z-D61 بسیار بالا و در حد میکرون است .
یک LED بر روی این سنسور تعبیه گردیده که در زمان تشخیص اشیا ان را تشخیص و led را روشن میکم. به کمک دو پتانسیومتر تعبیه شده بر روی قطعه میتوان وضعیت led قطعه را بصورت معکوس قرارداد به عبارتی در زمانی که سنسور موانعی را تشخیص داد وضعیت led به حالت خاموش تغییر کند و همچنین مقدار حساسیت برد تشخیص اجسام سنسور را با ان کاهش یا افزایش داد .

Descriptions:
Distance sensors are responsible for measuring the distance in a certain range. The accuracy of Omron's 5 to 100 mm optical distance meter sensor is very high and is within microns.
There is an LED on the sensor that is off and turns on when it senses objects or obstacles. With the help of a potentiometer that is placed on the sensor, it is possible to reverse the intensity of the LED sensing (that is, the LED is always on and turns off when an obstacle is detected).
