POE (Power Over Ethernet ) یکی از مناسب ترین منابع انتقال توان الکتریکی
به تجهیزات ریموت است. اما چه اتفاقی می‌افتد اگر تجهیزات شما از POE
پشتیبانی نکنند؟ POE نوعی فناوری به معنای تغذیه توسط کابل شبکه می‌باشد و
اسپلیتر POE یک دستگاه کوچک است که می‌تواند به طور همزمان برق و دیتا را
انتقال دهد. بنابراین از آنجایی که همه دوربین های مداربسته دارای قابلیت
POE نمی باشند، می‌توان با استفاده از این دستگاه این مشکل را حل نمود.
همچنین
به وسیله آن می توان برق و سیگنال شبکه را از یکدیگر جدا نمود و قابلیت
تغذیه به صورت POE را به دوربین مداربسته‌ی فاقد این قابلیت اضافه نمود.
ماژول
های سری RT7800 ، برای انتقال انرژی از کابل Cat5 اترنت به شبکه IEEE
802.3af در POE قابل استفاده هستند. مبدل DC/DC RT7800 ، با دریافت ولتاژ
ورودی مختلف، ولتاژ خروجی را تنظیم می‌کند. این مبدل همچنین دارای حفاظت از
اتصال کوتاه نیز می باشد.
با استفاده از POE اسپلیتر، دیگر نیازی به
کابل کشی جداگانه برای هر دوربین نیست، فقط کافی است POE را به دوربین مدار
بسته ای که فاقد این ویژگی است اضافه کنید.

The RT7800 series of modules are designed to extract power from a conventional twisted pair Category 5 Ethernet cable, conforming to the IEEE 802.3af at Power-over-Ethernet(PoE) standard.
The RT7800 signature and control circuit provides the PoE compatibility signature and power classification required by the Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE) before applying up to 15W(af) 30w(at) power to the port. The RT7800 provides a Class 0 (af) Class(4) signature.
The RT7800 DC/DC converter operates over a wide input voltage range and provides a regulated output. The DC/DC converter also has built-in short-circuit output protection.
