ماژول شتاب سنج و ژایرا BMI160 یک ماژول کوچک با توان مصرفی پایین است و رزولوشن 16 بیتی با نویز پایین دارد و در تجهیزات تلفن همراه جهت چرخاندن صفحه موبایل استفاده می شود. این ماژول شتاب سنج جریان مصرفی ناچیز حدود 950 میکرو آمپر دارد و به همین علت می تواند ب صورت دائم روشن باشد.
این ماژول شامل شتاب سنج سه محوره و ژیروسکوپ سه محوره است و از طریق پروتکل ارتباطی I2C با سایر ماژول ها و دستگاه ها ارتباط برقرار می کند.
