این رنگ محافظ UV ده گرمی مناسب PCB و ابی رنگ است یعنی با آغشته کردن برد مدار چاپی به این رنگ و قرار دادن زیر نور UV، برد آبی می شود.
استفاده از چاپ سولدر باعث می شود تا برد مدار چاپی در مقابل عواملی مانند اکسید شدن حفاظت شود و زیبایی به برد دهد.
