گاهی نیاز است عبور یک جسم خارجی را از فضایی مشخص تشخیص داد، این کار را می توان با کمک سنسور لیزری مادون قرمز خطی انجام داد.. این سنسور شامل یک فرستنده و یک گیرنده می باشد که عبور هر جسمی که پرتو ارتباطی بین فرستنده و گیرنده را قطع نماید اطلاع میدهد. این سنسورها از اشعه خطی و لیزری مادون قرمز جهت تشخیص استفاده می کنند. فرستنده و گیرنده این مدل برای حداکثر فاصله 20 متر قابل استفاده است. دمای عملیاتی این سنسور از منفی 25 تا مثبت 55 درجه می باشد و در برابر آب مطابق استاندارد IP55 مقاوم است. این سنسور در هر دو مدار N.O و N.C قابل استفاده بوده و با تغییر وضعیت جامپری که در برد آن وجود دارد قابل تنظیم است.

Working principle: Infrared Beam Sensor is full named in "Active Infrared Intruction Detectors" . It mainly includes transmitter, Receiver, Beams, LED light, Lens and so on.
