Description
The PCM1808 device is a high-performance, low-cost, single-chip, analog-to-digital stereo converter with single-ended analog voltage input. The device uses a delta-sigma modulator with 64 PCM1808-times oversampling and includes a digital filter decimation and high pass filter-which removes the continuous component of the input signal. For various applications, the PCM1808 device supports master and slave mode and two data formats in the audio interface series.
The device supports power-down and PCM1808 reset functions by means of stopping the system clock.
The PCM1808 device is suitable for a wide variety of applications requiring good cost-sensitive consumer performance and operation with an analog 5-V power supply and 3.3-V digital power supply. Fabrication of the PCM1808 device uses a highly advanced CMOS process. The device is available in a small, 14-pin tssop package.
