پولی ها برای انتقال قدرت از یک محور به محور دیگر به کار می روند. این قطعه پس از نصب بر روی محور موتور و محکم شدن آن ها باعث حرکت تسمه موتور می شود سپس با تنظیم دندانه پولی و تسمه، این دو قطعه با هم جفت می شود و نهایتا نیروی لازم جهت جابجایی ایجاد می گردد.
از پولی 20 دندانه GT2 و تسمه تایمینگ آن به منظور کاهش لغزش و ایجاد حرکت یکنواخت استپر موتور، در پرینترهای 3 بعدی استفاده می شود که سبب افزایش دقت چاپ می گردد. تعداد دندانه های پولی رابطه مستقیم با دقت چاپ دارد و هر چه تعداد دندانه ها بیشتر باشد، دقت چاپ بهتر خواهد شد. استفاده از این پولی های آلومینیومی باعث می شود که تسمه به شکل کنترل شده و با دقت حرکت کند. در انتخاب پولی ها باید به تعداد دندانه و جنس پولی توجه شود.

This tooth pulley is made of a strong, durable, and lightweight material (aluminum) with a 5mm inner hole diameter that can mount on any 5mm shaft especially step motor shaft and also can be more fastened to the shaft with 2 M4 screws.
This pulley is so designed to easily install and attach to the stepper motor shaft and is matched with a synchronous wheel H-type of 2GT timing belt with 6mm width, to transfer stepper motor force and movement. So it is specialized for building a 3D printer, engraving machine, CNC, or similar projects.
This pulley is presented in two optional types of toothless and with 20 teeth. A belt mechanism consists of a coach fixed to the belt, a toothed pulley (sprocket) connected to the step motor and a timing belt with teeth.
The belt teeth fit into the notches of the toothed pulley, preventing it from slipping, and allowing it rotates with the motor, so keeping the belt taut is a very important factor in timing.
