CJMCU-2561 is an optical digital converter, which converts light intensity into digital signal output, with direct I2C interface or SMBus interface. Each device is connected to a bandwidth photodiode and an infrared-responsive photodiode on a separate CMOS integrated circuit. This integrated circuit has the ability to provide a 20bit dynamic range of near-optical response. Two integrated ADCs convert the photosensitive current into a digital output, which measures the luminescence of each channel. This digital output can be the input of a microprocessor. In this microprocessor, the brightness (the level of ambient light) is obtained using an experimental formula. The TSL2560 device allows SNB TSL256x to be a high-speed, low-power, wide-range, programmable and flexible light intensity sensor chip launched by TAOS.
