کیت صوت سنج یا همان لول متر نوری وسیله ای است که میزان شدت صدا را با روشن کردن تعداد بیشتر دیودهای نورانی مشخص و آشکار می کند ؛ بطوری که اگر این کیت را مونتاژ کرده و بر روی بلندگوی سیستم پخش صوت رادیو یا موزیک خود قرار دهید ، با شدت و افزایش قدرت صدای خروجی ، دیودهای نورانی یا همان LED های مدار بیشتر روشن شده و جلوه و نمایش زیبایی را بوجود خواهد آورد و با بالا و پایین رفتن صدا ، ال ای دی ها نیز همراه با موسیقی مانند رقص نور روشن میشوند که در حقیقت این مدار یک بار گراف نوری می باشد .
با دیود حفاظتی ضد اتصال معکوس ، به طور موثر از اتصال معکوس قطبیت منبع تغذیه به مدار سوختگی جلوگیری می کند ،همچنین با میکروفون داخلی ، نیازی به اتصال کابل صدا نیست و میزان حساسیت صدا با پتانسیومتر قابل تنظیم می باشد .
