Description:
A soldering iron is a hand tool used in soldering. It supplies heat to melt solder so that it can flow into the joint between two workpieces. A soldering iron is composed of a heated metal tip and an insulated handle. Heating is often achieved electrically, bypassing an electric current (supplied through an electrical cord or battery cables) through a resistive heating element. It includes build-in mini CPU digital control circuitry with controls the temperature critically. The PX-988 soldering iron provides high-quality soldering work with quick heat-up and faster thermal recovery. It also presented with top temperature sensor design, the tip temperature sensor quickly, can significantly reduce the temperature of the welding nozzle in the process of temperature drop phenomenon, suitable for lead-free process technology.
The PX-988 soldering iron can display and set the temperature clearly With a particular LCD display with backlight.
Application:
repairing device
electronic module assembling
art works

Instructions:
Power on:
When the plug in the power, please press * key, the power will be on.
The acquiescence temperature is 350ºC.
Set temperature:
When the power is on, if you need to adjust the temperature, please press the up or down key to set the temperature you want, this time the LCD will display the twinkling value of set temperature, The temperature will go up or down 1ºC when you press once. After 3 seconds, the iron will go back to work and display the new temperature you set, then the temperature setting is finished, the value you set will be saved and won't be affected by power on or power off.
Temperature calibrating:
If the real temperature and the display temperature with deviation, then we need to calibrate the soldering iron. When the power is on, and the temperature is constant, test the real temperature by a thermometer (We recommend the soldering iron thermometer), then press the * for one time to go into calibrating, then input the value of deviation by up or down key, after 3 seconds the iron will go back to work, then temperature calibration is finished.
For example:
The displayed temperature is 350ºC, but the real temperature be tested is 380ºC, then press * key to go into calibrating, and press the down key to set down 30ºC, after 3 seconds the iron will go back to work, then finish temperature calibrating.
Turn off:
Keep press the * key for 3 seconds, the iron will turn off automatically.
