ماژول بلوتوث صوت XS3868 بر پایه آی سی OVC3860 با ولتاژ پایین فعال می‌شود و دارای یک فرستنده و گیرنده بلوتوث با فرکانس 2.4GHz است که می‌تواند انتقال صوت را با کیفیت بسیار بالا انجام دهد. این تراشه دارای یک پردازنده قوی است که از باتری‌های لیتیوم یون پشتیبانی می‌کند و قابلیت پشتیبانی از A2DP و AVRCP و پروتکل کنترل از راه دور بلوتوثی، توانایی انتقال صدای استریو را دارد. این برد بمنظور توسعه و راه اندازی ماژول بلوتوث صوت بکار می رود. ماژول بلوتوث صوت Bluetooth XS3868 استریو دو کاناله با توانایی دریافت و انتقال داده با سرعت 3Mbps در محدوده 10 متر مربع می‌باشد.
لامپ های LED های درنظر گرفته شده وضعیت های مختلفی از جمله باطری در حال شارژ، شارژ کامل باطری، کمبود شارژ و ارسال و دریافت اطلاعات را نمایش می دهد. به این ترتیب به کمک این برد و ماژول بلوتوث صوت XS3868 می توانید یک هدفون بیسیم یا با افزودن آمپلی فایر پرقدرت اسپیکر بیسیم طراحی کنید. این برد دارای ابعاد کوچک 49*22 میلی متر است و بر روی این برد کلیدهایی به منظور کاهش یا افزایش صدا، پخش یا توقف، و... و همچنین جک خروجی صدا استریو درنظر گرفته شده است که دارای توان 40 میلی وات با مقاومت 32 اهم است. این ماژول صدا از بلوتوث ورژن 2 پشتیبانی می کند و قابلیت تشخیص پایین آمدن سطح ولتاژ را دارد.

The OVC3860 is a 2.4GHz RF transceiver, Bluetooth v2 + EDR (enhanced Data Rate) baseband, can transfer high-quality 20bit stereo audio CODEC, and a complete on-chip power management unit including switch regulator can support a Lithium-Ion, Polymer Batteries, and LQ linear regulators.
The OVC3860 has a configurable Bluetooth stack integrated with profiles and applications including A2DP v1.2 AVRCP v1.3, HSP v1.2, and HPF v1.5 integrated with an on-chip SBC decoder, these device is fully compliant with the Bluetooth 2.0+EDR specification that produces a quality Bluetooth Stereo Audio and Voice Communication function.
